Speaking of good music...
Everyone who likes things that are not only good, but REALLY good, should take my lead and go see the mexican inspired music of Calexico at Irving Plaza, on

Not only because they are really interesting and probably the perfect band to do the soundtrack for PECOS STEVE... but also because THE FRAMES are opening for them. And even though I have a tendency to boast and exaggerate, I must tell you that I've seen the Frames play 3 times in the past 12 months and they have been the 3 of the best live shows I've ever been to. I can't even deal with how infectious, intense and passionate they are. It just makes me too excited.

The concert should be an interesting culture mix since The Frames are Irish and Calexico play Mexican music. Seriously I can't wait!
