I'd really like to write an article or do a documentary about the reactions to cancelled TV Shows and the different ways people take action after the fact.
And focus on the whole issue of Neilson boxes or the lack there off and how the factor into the demise of cult shows. Especially in the evoilving age of TiVo's and digital box tops. Since every time someone pays for a movie ticket it goes towards the box office gross/ success of a movie it seems so strange that TV studios accept such large approximations and guess work for the Neilson company (since so few people actually have a Neilson box and most are families).
It seems weird that supposedly so few people watch these shows but then fan support is so strong/loyal and the DVD's sell so many copies.
So yeah I find it pretty interesting.
But I got comics to write, so I probably won't get around to doing much more than writing this ;)
