Contemporary Graphic Novels for Girls: A Core List

In the February 1, 2004 issue of Booklist,
JAX EPOCH & THE QUICKEN FORBIDDEN was included in a list of 16 graphic novels and mangas which are proving to be popular with young female readers.
According to them the whole genre has a high percentage of female readership.
